I recently participated as a vendor at the November Harvest Fest & Craft Fair at Kent Island Resort, and as a local, I couldn’t be more impressed. The staff was incredibly organized and welcoming, making the event enjoyable for both vendors and guests. I also had the chance to dine at the restaurant—excellent food and warm service. Whether you’re looking for a stunning wedding venue, a relaxing place to stay, or simply a great spot to eat, I highly recommend Kent Island Resort. They truly showcase the best of what our island has to offer.

An Exceptional Retreat Experience for Corporate Teams We hosted our DSC leadership offsite at Kent Island Resort, and from the very beginning, the experience was seamless. Pre-planning with Carlie du Lac made everything—from reserving rooms to shaping the retreat logistics—shockingly stress-free. She took the guesswork out of the details and made sure we arrived fully prepared and supported. The resort itself has a charming boutique feel that immediately transports you out of the DC mindset, providing the perfect mix of peaceful surroundings and polished comfort for a strategy-heavy leadership gathering. Once on site, the service truly set the tone- and we JUDGE service experiences. Summer, the bar manager/mixologist, wowed the group with fall-inspired cocktails (we’ll be dreaming about those espresso martinis and cider creations for a while). Brian and the food and service staff kept us energized throughout long working sessions with warm hospitality, outstanding meals & snacks, and thoughtful touches that never once made us feel rushed or like we were asking too much. It’s rare to feel so taken care of during a corporate event, and this team absolutely delivered. Running a strategic retreat can be its own brand of complicated, but Kent Island Resort made it feel effortless. We practically took over the property, which created a cozy, intimate setting that helped our team connect, collaborate, and share new stories in the dining room - even after the rain stole our campfire plans. Every request was handled with ease, making the entire experience smooth and memorable. We’ll absolutely be recommending this location to any organization looking for a standout venue for leadership retreats or corporate offsites.

Can not say enough about the Kent Island Resort. Great food, great venues and best of all the kindest team you will ever work with. So accommodating and willing to work with you on any type of event. Highly recommend for your next company outing, big or small.

So lovely. We were here 3 days (2nights) for a corporate retreat. The staff was so thoughtful, precise, and professional. They think of Everything. The ‘party barn’ is miles better than a high-end chain hotel conference room. Gorgeous light, comfortable seating, good technology, good food. Lots of spaces for break outs, beautiful outdoor spaces. And s’mores! The restaurant food was lovely, fantastic bar, the rooms are a notch above too. Would definitely recommend for a wedding or family or couples getaway. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Such a beautiful place! We hosted our work holiday party here, and everything was absolutely wonderful. Our host and MC, Kiara, was amazing and made the evening so much fun. The décor was adorable, and I’m still thinking about the Brussels sprouts! Highly recommend this venue for a wedding or special event.

We had our company Christmas party at KIR and it was absolutely amazing. The vibe in the Farmstead was immaculate, and Kierra was such a joy to work with—fun, lively, and truly made the night unforgettable. The Farmstead was perfect for our group of 50, but with space for up to 250, it would also be an incredible venue for weddings or large meetings. They also have other beautiful event spaces for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings. We had so much fun that we decided to stay the night in the manor house. Thankfully, there was availability, and our room was beautiful with a balcony, a super comfy bed, and even local wine available in the room. We loved every part of our experience and can’t wait to come back!

Kent Island Resort is fantastic! I was a vendor at their Fall Craft Fair and it was awesome! The staff is so kind and friendly. The food, the music, the variety of talented vendors, everything was great. The venue looks so beautiful. I am looking forward to future events here!

A beautiful piece of historic property on Kent Island. The staff is as classic as the property. Food was top notch, definitely would recommend the cioppino. Can't wait for the weather to break to enjoy the patio.
